Started thinking I had a virus, so I ran Malwarebytes, deleted McAfee and Hitman Pro (also ran download that rids of any remaining McAfee files).

Tried a perfomance scan, and attempted to enable Windows Defender to change my start-up programs (still thinking it was a memory issue), and says I can't enable Windows Defender due to Group Policy (not sure what that is).

I thought it was due to lack of memory, but I backed it all up on an external hard drive and deleted it from the computer, and its still extremely slow.
